That 02/03 season, the game against villa late on sticks in the memory. Sir les missed a sitter of a header from 3 yards but the worst was the mindless penalty repka gave away.

He had the misfortune of having breen alongside him for quite a few of his games and whilst the rest of the back four held a line breen would suddenly back off ten yards to cover his complete lack of pace and leave repka hanging out to dry

Yeh, used to like Repka. Was a bit of a loose cannon but always tried his best. He won't take no shit behind the door either.

Probably had more bad games than good, but definitely didn't lack for effort so was alright with me, as that's mainly what I ask of people wearing our shirts.
And if you done a poll of any of our previous players ending up in jail, this chap would probably be top of the list, with the only surprise being it's for fraud and not murder!!

Agree Norman, I thought he was a decent player. 2001/2002 season we had the second best home record in the league. 40 points taken.

Tommy did take a while to adjust to the English Premier League or whatever it was called back then...got his marching orders in another game around this time as well...which kind of gave me cause for concern slightly...

My memory might be a bit blurred here, but I remember his first game at home..was it Blackburn? Had Shearer in his pocket all game if I remember rightly...won 2-0? Anyways I always liked a bit of super Tom...so there!

When he played for Fiorentina he averaged a red card every fifteen games. He improved at WHU averaging a red card every forty two games, better especially as he was red carded in his debut game for us served a suspension and was then red carded in his game after next.
